Brief Summary: Thoroughly Modern Millie is a play about a small-town Kansas girl who moves to New York City in the roaring 20’s to marry for money instead of love. It takes place in 1922 when the women of America were just beginning to enter into the workforce.

Millie begins to learn all about the flapper lifestyle, but it is rudely interrupted quickly. Millie checks in to The Hotel Priscilla, a hotel owned by a white slavery ring leader in Asia who tries to capture her friends. Come to the play to find out what happens to Millie and her friends!
